Advance Peace:

  • Recipient Name: Ingham County Health Department
  • Project Purpose: The funding would be used to support Advance Peace via case management, educational and travel opportunities, life skills training, subsidized employment and trauma therapy.
  • Project Location: Lansing, Michigan
  • Requested Amount: $215,000

Chippewa Homestead Antenna Mission Program (CHAMP):

  • Recipient Name: Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation
  • Project Purpose: This funding would support a proposed Command and Control Center ground station that will provide mission operations and ground station services in support of Department of Defense and commercial satellite missions.
  • Project Location: Kincheloe, Michigan
  • Requested Amount: $1,000,000

City of Westland Strengthening Families Program:

  • Recipient Name: City of Westland
  • Project Purpose: This funding will be used to implement a Strengthening Families Program focusing upon 10-12 year old children and their parent(s)/guardian(s).
  • Project Location: Westland, Michigan
  • Requested Amount: $30,000

Clinton Township Police Mobile Command Vehicle:

  • Recipient Name: Charter Township of Clinton
  • Project Purpose: The funding would be used to provide Clinton Township’s police a mobile command vehicle.
  • Project Location: Clinton Township, Michigan
  • Requested Amount: $500,000

Clinton Township Police Social Worker:

  • Recipient Name: Charter Township of Clinton
  • Project Purpose: This funding would be used to supplement Clinton Township’s existing police department with a social worker, who would offer assistance and expertise when the police are called upon to assist in mental health matters.
  • Project Location: Clinton Township, Michigan
  • Requested Amount: $674,485

Detroit Police Department Body Worn Camera Update:

  • Recipient Name: Detroit Police Department
  • Project Purpose: This funding would support the purchase of new body worn cameras (BWCs) for the Detroit Police Department, replacing current BWCs with new devices that have updated camera equipment, storage capacity and global positioning systems.
  • Project Location: Detroit, Michigan
  • Requested Amount: $1,000,000

Ecorse Police Station Renovation:

  • Recipient Name: City of Ecorse
  • Project Purpose: This funding will support the City of Ecorse’s police station renovation. These facility renovations remedy specific issues in the infrastructure of the station while furthering the department’s continual improvement.
  • Project Location: Ecorse, Michigan
  • Requested Amount: $2,204,800

Ferris State Center for Virtual Learning:

  • Recipient Name: Ferris State University
  • Project Purpose: The funding would be used to support phase two of construction, specifically toward equipping and installing the technology and isolated network capacity essential to maximize the potential of the facility.
  • Project Location: Big Rapids, Michigan
  • Requested Amount: $1,000,000

Next Gen Metal Detectors:

  • Recipient Name: Detroit Police Department
  • Project Purpose: This funding would allow the Detroit Police Department (DPD) to purchase next-gen walk-through high density metal detectors that will add a non-invasive, touch-free layer of protection at community events.
  • Project Location: Detroit, Michigan
  • Requested Amount: $1,000,000

Northern Michigan Law Enforcement Training Group Capital Improvement Plan:

  • Recipient Name: Northern Michigan Law Enforcement Training Group
  • Project Purpose: This funding would support the Northern Michigan Law Enforcement Training Group’s Capital Improvement Plan.
  • Project Location: Grayling, Michigan
  • Requested Amount: $1,000,000

St. Clair Shores Police Boat:

  • Recipient Name: City of St. Clair Shores
  • Project Purpose: This funding would support the purchase of a new Marine Patrol Vessel for the St. Clair Shores Police Department.

Transparency in Police Public Data Portal:

  • Recipient Name: City of Ann Arbor Project
  • Purpose: This funding is for software that will modernize Ann Arbor’s Police Department’s report management system and allow open, searchable, and digital access to police report information by the public.

Wayne Police Department Community Room:
