Project Purpose: The funding will be used to support the Grand Traverse Metro Emergency Services Authority, a not-for-profit governmental unit, which services three township in Grand Traverse County, specifically Acme, East Bay and Garfield.

Alcona C.A.R.E.S Alcona County Commission on Aging Community Hub Project:

Recipient Name: Alcona County Commission on Aging
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to support the Alcona County Commission on Aging, which is looking to create up to 44 units over two phases to address housing needs within its community.

Alpena Community College, Student Housing Community Facility:

Recipient Name: Alpena Community College
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to support construction of student housing on the main campus of Alpena Community College.

Alpena County Regional MRF (Multi-Stream Recycling Facility):

Recipient Name: County of Alpena
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to support the construction of an 11,700 square-foot Material Recovery Facility for the purpose of providing feedstock to manufacturing companies in northern Michigan, as well as throughout the state and beyond.

Baraga CRC Transportation Maintenance Facility/Service Center:

Recipient Name: Baraga County Road Commission
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to move forward with construction of a modern transportation facility to serve the needs of the residents of the motoring public and the Citizens of Baraga County.

Requested Amount: $2,000,000

Canton Township Fire Station #4 Alternative Energy:

Recipient Name: Charter Township of Canton
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to complete Phase 1 of the Engineering and Pre-Development Costs of a Geothermal/Solar Fire Station that will be constructed in the area of the Township where there is -- based on the feasibility and financial impact study -- a great need to implement this facility.

City of East Lansing Farmers Market Refresh:

Recipient Name: City of East Lansing
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to provide a permanent structure to house the City of East Lansing's Farmers Market in order to expand access for increased vendors, access for patrons, and to transform this seasonal temporary market into a year-long, permanent hub of community activity and entrepreneurial opportunity.

City of Munising - Washington Street Improvements:

Recipient Name: City of Munising
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to reconstruct approximately 2,800 feet of Washington Street from the intersection of H-58 to the Munising Falls Visitor Center.

East Jordan City Harbor Rehabilitation Project:

Recipient Name: City of East Jordan
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to support the City of East Jordan’s Municipal Marina, which serves as the nautical gateway to this historic City and surrounding area by way of Lake Charlevoix – South Arm.

Hastings Public Library Window Replacement Project:

Recipient Name: Hastings Public Library
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to help pay to replace the windows of the Hastings Public Library.

Huron Dam Stormwater Management:

Recipient Name: City of Houghton
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to support a project that includes the construction of a new outlet control structure at the existing earthen dam on Huron Pond, to convey flood waters of Huron Creek and prevent overtopping and failure of the existing embankment.

Jim Crow Museum, Archive, and Research Center:

Recipient Name: Ferris State University
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to better accommodate the growing demand that the Jim Crow Museum is experiencing, and to better serve its mission, the Jim Crow Museum has developed a plan to expand the Museum’s physical facilities and programming.

Lapeer Community Pavilion:

Recipient Name: Lapeer Downtown Development Authority
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to construct a new Lapeer Community Pavilion located along Farmers Creek in the traditional downtown area.
Project Location: Lapeer, Michigan

Lawndale Fiber Broadband Streetscape:

Recipient Name: City of Detroit
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to develop and provide information technology and consulting services to city agencies, enabling them to better innovate on how they deliver services and interact with citizens.

Midland County Flood Plain Reconnection and Enhancement Project:

Recipient Name: County of Midland
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to support a project to create ecologically functional floodplains and to improve stormwater drainage, allowing stormwater to flow into formerly disconnected floodplains.

Mundy Miracle Commons Senior Cultural Center and Outdoor Amphitheater:

Recipient Name: Charter Township of Mundy
Project Purpose: The funding be used for the construction of a cultural center and outdoor amphitheater so that people of all abilities have the opportunity for education programming in the arts as well as performance opportunities.

Negaunee City Hall ADA Ramp Replacement:

Recipient Name: City of Negaunee
Project Purpose: The funding will be used to support the removal of the current ADA ramp system and replacing it with a new system.

Negaunee Fire Hall: Emergency Electrical Generator:

Project Purpose: The funding will be used to help meet the needs of the Negaunee Fire Department if loss of power occurs within the city.

Project Purpose: The funding will be used to construct a four season structure in the center of town, essentially a “town center.”

Project Purpose: The funding will be used to repurpose a vacant school building, Marshall Upper Elementary School, into a recreation and community center, which Westland does not currently have.

Project Purpose: The funding will be used to support a community facility that will promote the arts in Allegan County and help restore this building as the community center it was intended to be when it was constructed in 1929.
