Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee to Consider Nominees & Postal Naming Legislation

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Gary Peters (D-MI) and Rob Portman (R-OH), Chairman and Ranking Member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, announced the committee will hold a business meeting on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 4:15 PM to consider nominations and postal naming legislation pending before the committee. A tentative agenda is below:

Nominations:

  1. Robert H. Shriver III to be Deputy Director, Office of Personnel Management; and
  2. Richard L. Revesz to be Administrator, Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Office of Management and Budget.

Postal Naming Bill:

  1. H.R. 3175, to designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 135 Main Street in Biloxi, Mississippi, as the “Robert S. McKeithen Post Office Building.”
