Peters Statement on Senate Health Care Vote

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Gary Peters (MI), released the following statement on the failed Senate Republican effort to repeal the Affordable Care Act in the U.S. Senate:

“Thanks to the advocacy and hard work of Michiganders and people across the country, Republican efforts to pass a health care bill that would hike premiums and strip health care coverage from millions of hardworking families failed last night. I hope we can finally move forward and work together in a public and bipartisan manner to find much-needed solutions that will help lower costs and improve health care for people in Michigan and across the country.”
