Peters Statement Following Supreme Court Agreeing to Consider Health Care Law

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S Senator Gary Peters (MI) today released the following statement on the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to hear a lawsuit regarding the health care law: 

“The Trump Administration is determined to overturn the health care law and eliminate protections for Michiganders with preexisting conditions and raise health care costs. The stakes could not be higher for Michigan middle class families. As this case is considered by the Supreme Court, I’m going to continue fighting to expand access to quality, affordable health care and reduce prescription drug prices.”
