U.S. Senator Gary Peters joined Representative Brenda Lawrence and local union leaders to tour the Postal Service Metroplex to understand the impact of United States Postal Service (USPS) delays on Michiganders in Detroit and across the state. As Ranking Member of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Peters launched an investigation into reported delays at the USPS that are preventing Michiganders from receiving and sending mail, including prescription drugs, business mail, and mail-in ballots.
