Senator Peters commemorates Manufacturing Day honoring Michigan manufacturers and workers
DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — U.S. Senator Gary Peters (MI) has released a video recognizing Michigan manufacturers and workers in advance of Manufacturing Day, which is Friday October 7th.
“Today we’re celebrating the contributions of all the workers across Michigan who help keep us at the forefront of innovation. It’s because of you that our state is known around the world as the backbone of American manufacturing,” said Peters. “This year, we have a lot to celebrate. Working with President Biden, we’ve been able to get multiple bills signed into law to bolster manufacturing and enter a new era of American ingenuity.
“With these historic investments in American workers, we’re cementing our place as global leaders in manufacturing for years to come. So to all the workers in Michigan and across the United States: thank you all for the hard work you do to support our communities and our country. I’ll always fight for you and for good-paying manufacturing jobs in our state,” concluded Peters.
