U.S. Senator Gary Peters is working on a bill to help expand access to healthcare in Michigan.

The Telehealth Innovation and Improvement Act would extend those services to rural areas.

The move would pave the way for Medicare to cover additional telehealth services.

It would save patients time and money, as they could be treated much closer to home.
